About the Role

Join Our Team as a Compliance & Training Officer!


Are you an experienced face-to-face fundraiser with a passion for ethical fundraising, compliance, and quality assurance? Do you want to play a key role in ensuring fundraising teams deliver transparent, professional, and high-quality donor interactions? If so, Zen Fundraising wants you on board!

  • Hourly Rate: £13 per hour

  • Hours: 25+ per week, flexible 3-4 day working week

  • Travel Required: Own car or reliable transport essential

  • Job Type: Part-time, permanent

  • Work Split: 75% in-field, 25% remote


What You’ll Be Doing:


  • Observing, assessing, and ensuring all internal and subcontracting fundraising teams adhere to regulations set by the Fundraising Regulator, the Chartered Institute of Fundraising, and Zen’s charity partners.

  • Conducting mystery shops, shadowing fundraisers at doors, streets, and private sites and reviewing welcome calls.

  • Compiling reports on fundraiser performance, team leadership and adherence to Zen’s training systems.

  • Coaching ad motivating teams by offering constructive feedback to fundraisers and team leaders, ensuring fundraising is ethical, professional and engaging

  • Supporting complaint investigations, attending disciplinary meetings and working with leadership to improve performance.

  • Regular overnight stays may be required as Zen expands across the UK

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in Face-to-Face fundraising

  • A strong understanding of the Fundraising Regulator’s Rulebooks.

  • An honest, ethical and professional with excellent communication skills.

  • A self-motivated & adaptable person who is able to work independently and meet deadlines

  • Great interpersonal skills – able to coach, inspire and engage fundraisers.

  • Full UK driving license & own vehicle preferred.
