Partnership with Arc Counselling
Our dedication to local welfare extends to mental health through our partnership with Arc Counselling, a vital mental health charity service in Axminster. Since its inception in 2007, Arc Counselling has provided crucial mental health support integrated within the Axminster Medical Practice. This unique setup allows for efficient referrals by healthcare professionals, ensuring community members receive timely and effective support.
As a self-funded organisation, Arc relies on donations to subsidise the cost of counselling sessions. Our collaboration involves fundraising initiatives and raising awareness about their invaluable services, emphasising the importance of accessible mental health care.
We're extremely proud to support such an impactful organisation and are gearing up to raise funds for Arc at the upcoming Axe Vale show. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to support this incredible organisation and the essential work they do in our community.
Engaging with Local Festivals and Charitable Events 🎪
Speaking of which, we love participating in local festivals and smaller-scale events, supporting smaller, independent charities. Last summer, we proudly represented Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity at the Savour Festival. Such events help raise funds and build a tradition of community involvement and support.
With their incredible support for over 32,000 children living with lifelong, complex conditions across the UK, Roald Dahl Nurses have become a vital family lifeline, providing access to professional emotional support and coordinating care.
Our joint mission was to connect with and inspire supporters to establish more Roald Dahl Nurses through generous donations.
The best part? We almost doubled their monthly givers in one weekend!
Festival fundraising is an incredible way to create annual traditions in the community, serving as excellent fundraisers for years to come.
Volunteerism and Local Impact
Encouraging our team to engage directly with the community is part of our foundational ethos. As part of our 'Zen-efits', we provide all employees with volunteer days. We believe in the transformative power of giving back, so we encourage all our employees to set aside dedicated time to support local charities of their choice.
